Oli (14 year old student) and i were discussing the effect that the damper pedal has, to create overtones and hanronics. 
i decided to create a piece that showed this to the max! The concept of a mirage came to mind when i started playing with chordal structures...the shimmering, mesmerising, visual optical illusion, hopefully revealed in the tone colours and contours of this Grade 4 level composition 'Mirage for Oli'
